After looking in the library for about 30 seconds I came accross many different newspapers. On the second floor of the library there is an area that holds many current newspapers, from local, national and even world newspapers. It is very simple to find the one you are looking for. This shows us that if we really care to stay up on current events, not only could we find news on our computers, but we can just go down to the library. I found a New York Times, that was from February 20, 2009. One of its headlines was; In Budget Deal; California Shuts Down $42 Billion Gap. It focused on the new economic plans and how they will effect all the states and specifically California.
