What's a Microfiche??

Microfiche is like micro film, it is usually incredibly small print on slides, it would be impossible for our eyes to be able to read them. In order to read the slide you must use a special lense that is part of the micro fiche reader machine. It is usually used to archive books, magazines, and newspapers, it allows the library to save much needed space. It would be very expensive and space filling if they just had the hard copies of all the individual microfiche's. These are located on the second floor of the library in many different file cabinents.
